I like to work on Photoshop tutorials and there are some fun, interesting ones at this website....
http://www.photoshopessentials.com/   I decided to try this one with the photo within the photo. I found this cute picture of Rebecca and added a PW Sunshine action to it, some word art, a starglow from Katie Pertiet and made the background black and white. I'm happy with how it turned out!!

BEST FRIENDS

My five kids are now all taller than I am and they think it's funny. Have to admit, when I look at this picture I remember how little they were just yesterday and how quickly time has gone. I love have them as adults and being able to visit and know they are really some of my best friends but there is still this ache in my heart that my babies are babies no longer. But I love them dearly and look forward to the years ahead making more memories....

I've missed using actions so here is one of my favourite recent pictures with several of PW Actions on them. I used her Seventies, Sunshine and Edge Burn!

ENGAGEMENT PICTURES

So HAPPY to take engagement pictures today of my sweet Melodie and her fiance Kevin Smith! We went out by the river here in Kamloops taking the airport road and I had a wonderful time! I think the two kiddos got a little cold but they were good sports and humoured me. The hardest part was stopping them from laughing long enough to snap a picture.

After having a picture taken off my blog last year without permission by Van Print in Vancouver (see my post here Egg Nog Model), I decided I better put my signature on all of my pictures. I will just have to figure out a quick way to do that. In these pictures I used a lot of Pioneer Woman actions and had such fun with them.

Vanessa and Amie

I was surprised to find this picture on my camera! This was taken at Melodie's Open House last Sunday when we had scads of people over to welcome her home. It was a pretty crazy day, with talks at church and then lots of company but it was a really happy day too. Unfortunately, when the "get together" is at my house I am "Martha" busily making sure there is enough food, enough dishes, enough punch and trying to visit with everyone so the camera is forgotten. I think I took two pictures....so it was with delight that I found some other ones, but I didn't know who took them until I asked and Amie said it was Don! So good for my sweetie for picking up the camera!
I loved this picture but decided to put Pioneer Woman's Colorized and Burnt Edges on it and love how it turned out. This is one Vanessa's best friends, Amie Short....they are in the nursing program together. I love how Don got Scott in the background. Will have to remember to give him the camera more often if I am busy!!
