SCRAPBOOKING ... COWBOYS DANCE
So happy to be scrapbooking again! I used pictures that Russell and Jennifer McCue took at Melodie's wedding reception and used them on this layout. I'm taking a Jana Morton class from Creative Passion called "Blueprints: The Angles of Photoshop" and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm learning how to use extractions and angles in photoshop. This page took way longer than I thought and I certainly learned that you should never extract ROPE!!! I really loved this pictures that were taken in a "photo booth" at the reception. Also had to include this because Melodie and Kevin both LOVE to dance so this was them at their best.

WEDDING INVITATIONS
SMITHS
Just realized that I've never posted Kevin and Melodie's wedding invitations! I think it's because I wanted people to get it in the mail first before they saw it on my blog! I had fun designing these but I learned that I will never print it off myself again. It was so much work, took so much ink and I wrecked quite a few of them! So I'm okay with the designing but no more printing! Plus I don't think I will add full colour to the middle again, as much as I like it, it really takes too much ink. The font here is Zapfino.

ENGAGEMENT PICTURES.... MIKE AND EMMA
I was so happy to be able to take some engagement pictures of Mikael Lamb and his fiancee Emma Dudley! They were only in town for the weekend from Calgary so we had to scramble to find some time! Mike's family are close friends of ours so we were excited to hear that he had found this beautiful girl. There was a lot of laughing during this session as you can see...these two sure enjoy being together!
I had fun with these pictures, some have PW actions, and others have Coffee Shop actions on them. I loved the effect of the black and white, sepia and some other filters. Just hoping they like them!!!

THY MOTHER'S GLASS
Happy Mother's Day to my Mom! It's hard to visit when she's so far away (my Mom, Reina Granger lives in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia) so thank goodness for the phone. I was so grateful to be with her last month at my brother's funeral. Not only can we talk and laugh together but we were able to grieve together. She was heartbroken and in shock...there is nothing harder than losing your child. I have lots of wonderful memories of my mother and how hard working she was....she held our farm together when Dad was out working. Can't say I ever milked a cow, but I know she did!! So this page is for my MOM:
